What do we mean by this ? In 1995 two fellow engineers joined a start - up company to design, build and install wet benches for etching and cleaning . A team of engineers and other staff members was formed - and remained together for 20 years .

Due to various circumstances, Matthias Niese and Gerry Knoch decided to start their own company in 2015 and founded exateq . Many of their former colleagues followed and have supported them enthusiastically ever since .

The two owners run a company with family atmosphere . as the business grew, additional employess joined the team, adopting the company's spirit, knowledge and experience while contributing their own innovative ideas.

The brilliant ideas and excellent engineering skills of the exateq team result in products highly valued by their users. Of course, not everyone works as an engineer, but every employee has an engineering mindset. Now you understand our statement.

During our first decade, we focused on wet processing equipment for solar wafers. Building on this success the start-up exateq has transformed itself into a well-established company.
